What were the best films of the 2000's? This is a question that has as many different answers as there are people who love movies. Recently, we surveyed approximately 40 men and women to determine their favorite movies between 2000 and 2009. Each provided their favorite 10 films, their prioritized responses were ranked, and the lists were compiled. Over 128 films were nominated, with the following 10 films identified as the most enjoyable of the past decade. How many have YOU seen?

It gets more interesting when you break the lists down by gender. The top ten films for men and women both include Slumdog Millionaire, Gladiator, Best in Show, and Juno. The women's list also features A Beautiful Mind, The Notebook, Erin Brockovich, Crash, Cast Away and Billy Elliot. The men's list includes Blood Diamond, Casino Royale, Batman Begins, No Country for Old Men, The Bucket List and Ocean's Eleven. This must make for many an interesting discussion when it comes to picking a movie to watch over the weekend.
My top ten list is different than this one, as yours will also be. No list of best movies could ever be the same - we come from such different places and preferences.
